Privacy Laws
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will replace the current privacy legislation as of May 25, 2018. The GDPR sets out rules for the processing of personal data.
System changes implemented
The VMS system is designed to be GDPR-compliant. This is achieved through, among other things:
- Processing purposes established;
- Data from rejected candidates is automatically anonymized;
- Documents for which the statutory retention period has expired are automatically deleted.
Privacy Officer
Privacy Officer Appointed. The Privacy Officer oversees compliance with the GDPR. With the implementation of the GDPR, Staffing MS is required to appoint a Privacy Officer.
Data Processing
Data processing activities have been documented. Through a processing register, Staffing MS maintains a clear overview of the personal data being processed.
Privacy Statement Updated
Privacy Statement updated in accordance with the GDPR. The Privacy Statement will be available on the Inhuurdesk starting May 25.
